Inspiring ASEEM
A streak of light seems to be guiding us at BARTIKA through successes here and there. While many are minor but few are remarkable, that inspires us at SPADE to move forward with greater ardour and spirit. ASEEMA SINGH PATHAR, a tribal student, of Maheshpur Bartika Shiksha Kendra situated at Maheshpur village, Puncha Block, Purulia, West Bengal, has cleared the secondary examination this year.
It is a matter of great pride for us. While her father works as a daily wage earner, mother does sundry labour. Through relentless monitoring and supervision, teachers at BARTIKA ensured that she does not drop out from her studies.
Along with studies, she was also groomed on painting, Bratachari – a traditional folk movement (https://wikipedia.org/wiki/Bratacharimovement), and sports. Bartika’s supportive hand will always be with Aseema so that she can go a long way in life.
