Manasi Samabay Rhindan Samity Limited
(a registered Cooperative Society from 30-08-2016 under WB Multipurpose Cooperative Act 2013)
The office of Manasi Samabay Rhindan Samity Limited is situated at village Prangopalpur, Gram Panchayat Bablari, Block Nabadwip, District Nadia. Popularly known as Prajanma Mahila Samiti since 2013, acted as a pioneer in all spheres of financial and social upliftment of women in the area for more than 15 years. This is the place where SPADE started the journey of a thousand miles at grassroots level on Community Based Self Reliant Groups.
At present it consists of around 75 WSHGs with a membership of more than 750 and a savings deposit of its own members in the tune of 4 Lac. The average loan taken by each group is around sixteen thousand which they use for enhancing their members livelihood.
Apart from this financial self reliant activity, members are very active on social environmental activities, women rights issues.
