Rumpa Naskar keeps smiling
Thanks to TATA Power CSR initiative for bringing about the makeover of Rumpa Naskar from an insignificant housewife to a flourishing entrepreneur. Ruma Naskar (40 years) of Urdhabmal village in Guaberia GP area in Sutahata Block of Purba Medinipur has thoroughly groomed herself with SPADE support to perform multifarious activities like leading her Self Help Group from the front, execute household chores with army efficiency, bringing up children and managing her business single handedly with an ever present smile on face.
Having started her own roof top poultry farm in December 2021, better known as the Auto Teller Machine for the rural poor, Rumpa has already multiplied the number of birds from the seed size of 150 and made a profit of Rs. 10000 by now by selling out the poultry products.
Rumpa aspires to flourish more and more for ensuring a better future for her posterity so that they need not suffer in future as she had to in own life.
SPADE aims at bringing all such promising women into the limelight and is resolute to keep working in partnership with others for empowering more and more women as it did in case of Rumpa.
