Civil Society in India: Opportunities and Challenges

28th May, 2018, Calcutta Society for Professional Action in Development (SPADE) [https://www.spadeglobal.org/] and Civil Society Academy [https://www.civilsocietyacademy.org/] organized a one day consultation at WBVHA, Kolkata [http://www.wbvha.co.in/] to exchange and interact views and ideas on “Civil Society in India: Opportunities and Challenges – Possible areas to explore”. It highlighted the 17 Sustainable Development Goals which officially came into force since 2016… with civil society, local authorities, indigenous people, local communities, academia and other elevant sectors…

The 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) to transform our world:

GOAL 3: Good Health and Well-being
GOAL 4: Quality Education
GOAL 5: Gender Equality
