SPADE is engaged by PWC for providing expert services for Scientific Micro-Planning and Assessment on Solid Waste Management as per SWM Rules 2016 for ULBs in West Bengal.

The ULBs (Urban Local Bodies)

Krishnanagar, Nabadwip, Santipur, Coopers Camp, Birnagar, Taherpur, Ranaghat Chakdah, Kalyani, Gayeshpur, Haringhata, Kanchrapara, Halisahar, Habra, Barrackpore, Ashoknagar, Gobardanga

Deliverables

ULB coordinators would be responsible for:

  • Providing hand-holding support to the ULBs for the preparation and implementation of SWM Micro Plan during the entire contract period.
  • Field visits, primary and secondary data collection, stakeholders’ consultations, focus group discussions, organizing etc.
  • Organizing workshops, IEC/BCC events, training sessions knowledge sharing activities on the subject, on a need-basis.
