Field Visit by Tata Power – SPADE at Sutahata Haldia
It was supreme satisfaction for us when we visited the villages around Haldia, this week, noticing the dimensional changes in the villages, from a single crop farmland to multi crop, nutritional garden all thru out, a plethora of non-farm activities like tailoring, making of hand gloves, zari stitching etc., along with booming output from fisheries and animal husbandry. The ultimate satisfaction was due to the smile of the villagers, who were speaking to us on the improvement in their earnings and consequent upliftment in the standard of their daily lives.
